Hunan Anti Destructive Cults Research Center, established in 2017, is the theoretical research base of the China Anti Destructive Cults Association.
The nature of the Center is a social organization that voluntarily organizes and engages in non-profit anti-cult social activities and theoretical research.
The purpose of the Center is to abide by the Constitution, laws, regulations and relevant policies, abide by social morality and customs, disseminate scientific thought and spirit, carry forward traditional culture and humanistic spirit, strengthen academic theoretical research on anti-cults, actively explore and guide anti-cult practice with forward-looking theoretical achievements.
The leading unit of the Center is the China Anti Destructive Cults Association.
The competent authority of the Center is the Hunan Anti Destructive Cults Association.
The address of the Centre is in Yiyang City, Hunan Province.
Business scope of the Center:
（1） To implement the principles, policies and important instructions of the government on preventing and dealing with cults;
（2） To study and explore the development status, practical hazards and prevention and control countermeasures of various cults. Undertaking research on relevant topics;
（3） Publicize the laws, regulations and policies on anti-cult, popularize the professional knowledge and legal knowledge of anti-cult, and collect the opinions and suggestions of all sectors of society on anti-cult work;
（4） To sort out the theoretical research achievements of anti-cults in various places, draw on the advanced theories of anti-cults at home and abroad, and compile and publish academic journals, relevant books and collections of materials;
（5） To carry out academic exchanges and friendly exchanges with anti-cult theoretical research institutions, overseas academic organizations, experts and scholars;
（6） To organize various forms of academic investigation, exchange and discussion activities, and to promote and apply the achievements of academic research;
（7） To carry out training within the scope of business;
（8） To provide intellectual support and theoretical guidance for local anti-cult work.

湖南省反邪教研究中心成立于2017年，是中国反邪教协会理论研究基地。
中心的性质是是自愿举办、从事非营利性反邪教社会活动和理论研究的社会组织。
中心的宗旨：遵守宪法、法律、法规和有关政策规定，遵守社会道德风尚，传播科学思想和科学精神，弘扬传统文化和人文精神，加强反邪教学术理论研究，积极探索，以前瞻性的理论成果指导反邪教实践。
中心的领导单位是中国反邪教协会。
中心的主管单位是湖南省反邪教协会。
中心的地址在湖南省益阳市。
中心的业务范围：
（一）贯彻落实政府有关防范和处理邪教问题的方针政策和重要指示精神；
（二）研究探索各种邪教的发展状况、现实危害及防范治理对策。承担有关课题研究；
（三）宣传有关反邪教的法律法规和政策规定，普及有关反邪教的业务知识和法律知识，收集社会各界对反邪教工作的意见和建议；
（四）整理各地反邪教理论研究成果，借鉴国内外有关反邪教的先进理论，编辑出版学术刊物、相关书籍和资料汇编；
（五）开展同各反邪教理论研究机构以及海外学术组织及专家学者的学术交流和友好往来；
（六）举办多种形式的学术考察、交流、研讨活动，进行学术研究成果的推广与应用；
（七）开展业务范围内的培训工作；
（八）为各地反邪教工作提供智力支持和理论指导。
